Lehnberghaus – A Classic Alpine Hut Hike
The hike from the Arzkasten Inn to Lehnberghaus is one of the most popular routes on the Mieming Plateau. The well-maintained trail winds through shady forests and the picturesque Lehnberg Valley before reaching the alpine hut at around 1,550 metres above sea level. At the top, you'll be rewarded with a traditional mountain hut, a sunny terrace, and delicious regional specialities—the perfect place to relax and enjoy a well-earned break. For experienced hikers, Lehnberghaus also serves as an excellent starting point for more demanding tours, including the summit of Wankspitze or the route via Grünsteinscharte.

The cosy alpine hut, with its spacious sun terrace, is an ideal place to stop for refreshments. The route is also suitable for families with young children and can even be enjoyed with a stroller.
